Sponsorship of the Michael Fabiano Celebrity League: I don’t have to tell you that those who play fantasy football are a different breed. This year we embarked on Sling's first-ever charitable activation. Michael Fabiano formerly from NFL Network and now with Sports Illustrated has always been a Slinger, and he’s always advertised his Celebrity Fantasy Football League. Getting a cast of actors, athletes, wrestlers, and musicians to talk trash to each other and battle it out for $21k in charitable donations courtesy of Sling was an engaging and wildly successful way to do a little good, while subtlely mixing in Sling’s NFL RedZone offering, the perfect channel for NFL Fans.

Field Yates and Mina Kimes: They are good friends off of the camera, so why not have them be friends on it? Full of hot takes and insider knowledge, Field and Mina brought us credibility and some epic social videos and conversations (Sling’s first-ever Twitter Spaces) to boot! Previewing the season, building the perfect quarterback, discussing the best tailgate foods, and even talking about their lovable doggos were fun and engaging topics that carried us through the NFL season. With a lot of bad calls floating around the NFL lately, either by refs (that holding call in the Super Bowl?!) or coaches (looking at you Mike Mccarthy), Field and Mina were the perfect spokespeople to let you know Sling is the right call to watch the NFL.
